Opal Dean Stevenson, age 78, of Damascus, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 21, 2025.

Opal was of the Baptist faith. She was a home maker who spent her life taking care of all her nieces and nephews and all the kids of the community who she called her own.

She loved a good game of bingo from time to time.

Opal is preceded in death by her husband, Blast OD Stevenson; parents, Cloyd Earl Hurley and Goldie Mary Clay, and two brothers, Dan Hurley and Darvin Hurley.

She is survived by her sister, Syblelene (Jerry) Mckenzie of Damascus; sister-in-law, Patsy Hurley of Plumerville; 11 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews, and many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
