of Little Rock, AR
January 20, 1933 - August 16, 2025
Anna Marie Roy, 92, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
She was born on January 20, 1933, in Akron, Ohio, to Harvey and Ethel Webber Zinkhann. Anna lived a life centered on faith, family, and service to others. Alongside her husband, Thomas Roy Jr., she co-owned Roy's Travel Agency, where they shared their love for travel and helping others experience the world.
Anna had a generous spirit and quiet strength. She served as a Stephen Minister, providing care and support to those going through difficult times. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, working jigsaw puzzles, and playing bingo, pastimes that brought her joy and connection with others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; her brother, Marty Zinkhann, and her sister, Helen Alvord.
She is survived by her sons, Tom Roy and daughter-in-law Cissy Brown Roy and Ted Roy and daughter-in-law Lisa Roy; and by her beloved grandchildren, Matthew Roy, Andrew Roy, and Christopher Roy and his wife Lauren. Her love, kindness, and wisdom will be remembered always by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, at 3:00 p.m. at Presbyterian Village in Little Rock, where she lived and enjoyed spending time with friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Presbyterian Village or a charity of your choice.
Was so sorry to hear this. I know you were close, and hope that cherishing the good memories will help with the pain.
Dear Anna Marie's family;-- I am sorry to hear of your loved one's passing. I did not personally know Anna Marie, but heard her name often. I started working at American Printing in 1972 alongside Marie Dell'Angelo. Anna Marie and Marie would talk on the phone often and I know Anna Marie helped Marie plan many trips. She loved to travel, mostly by herself as she never married. I know Anna Marie helped Marie plan trips to Udine, Italy where Marie was born. They were good friends and thought a lot of each other. (Marie passed away about 20 years ago).
Tom and Anna were two of our best friends. Many travels.
I'm very sorry to hear about your Mom. Sending our deepest sympathies and prayers for peace in your grief.
Dear Tom, Ted and families,
My sympathy on the passing of your mom. I know you are not the young boys I used to babysit on Alaho St in Akron, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We had a good neighborhood with lots of fun.
Fondly,
Rita (Herhold) Burkley

Dear Tom, Ted and Family,
I can only imagine how your mother will be missed by family and by her friends at Presbyterian Village. May all the wonderful memories you hold in your heart bring you her loving comfort.
She was one blessed woman to have a loving family to take care of her.
May she rest in God's arms with a box of buckeye candy!
