Delores Maxine Hughes, 89, of Aubrey, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025 at her home. She was born on February 23, 1936 to Ira Thornsberry Sr. and Madina McDonald Thornsberry.

She is survived by two sons, John Kinney (Nancy) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Robin Kinney of Southaven, Mississippi; one daughter, Penny Estes of Byhalia, Mississippi and thirty-one grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Ira Thornsberry Jr. of Arlington, Tennessee and one sister, Genice Hinkle (John) of Aubrey, Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Max Hughes Jr., her parents and one sister, Joyce Foster.

Mrs. Hughes loved watching westerns. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Delores Hughes will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange, Arkansas.
