Ruth Dale Glorioso, 75, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family members on Thursday, August 14, 2025. She was born in Newbern, Tennessee on Monday, August 15, 1949 to the late William and Hattie Ferebee.

Ruth was a graduate from Barton High School in 1967 and studied two years at Phillips County Community College. She went on to work in mental health services for over forty years and retired from Midsouth Health Systems in 2016 as the customer support staff supervisor. Ruth enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting and sewing.

She is survived by her beloved husband of sixteen years, Vincent Glorioso; two daughters, Leigh Ann Ballard of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Jenni Cheek of Rogers, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Megan Kinsella, Eric Turner, Amber Brooke Turner, Blake Cheek, Nichole Forester and Micah Cheek; six great grandchildren, Alleeah, Eli, Connor, Elizabeth, Ace and Carter; two sisters, Dixie Ferebee and Lena Williams (Lonnie); two brothers, Donald Ferebee (Joanne) and Terry Ferebee (Debbie); and a host of family and friends.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rachel Hebert and Bobbie Ferebee and three brothers, David Ferebee, Wayne Ferebee and James Ferebee.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Ruth Glorioso to the

Arkansas Children Hospital
