Joseph D. Mitchell, 92, a resident of Russellville, Arkansas, currently residing in Lamar, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in Lamar. He was born on October 14, 1932 to James W and Floy (Tackett) Mitchell in Russellville, Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry McDaniel and four sisters, Mary Helen Keener, Iva Ruth Utley, Gladys Marion Reaves and Paulette Meador.
Those who are left to cherish the memories of Joseph are his loving wife, Joanne (Russo) Mitchell; his two daughters, Lisa Johnson and Kathy Wales; five grandsons; fourteen great-grandchildren; along with many more family and friends.
Arrangements for cremation are being made under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville. A memorial service for Joseph will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville.
