Peggy Hanson Pratt

of Little Rock, AR

August 24, 1928 - August 12, 2025

Peggy Hanson Pratt, age 96, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 in Little Rock, AR. Peggy was born August 24, 1928 in Judsonia AR to William and Ruby Hanson. She is the younger sister to Bill Hanson. Peggy married the love of her life, Frank Pratt Jr. on February 17, 1951. They went on to have two wonderful children, Hanson and Kim.

Peggy spent almost 50 years at Christian Kindergarten and Nursery School. From comforting children (and young moms) on the first day of school to reminding the children on their last day at CKNS ''where they got their start'', Peggy helped create a happy and loving environment for thousands of children. In addition to her love for her church and work, you could often find her on Lake Hamilton fishing and hosting annual 4th of July fish fries for the occupants at Buena Vista.

Peggy was greeted into Heaven by her beloved Frank; brother, BJ; kids, Hanson, Kim and many, many friends. She is survived by her son-in-law, Mark; granddaughters, Ashley Hilliard (Don), Shannon Henry; great grandson, Matthew Henry; niece, Holly Hanson and nephew, Jeff Hanson and his wife, Shelley and kids, Jackson, Savannah, Sully and Luke.

The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice for the love and care they gave ''Mee Mee'' in her final days.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday August 16, 2025 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Christian Church of Little Rock or Arkansas Hospice.

Peggy, Thank you for being there for me at First Christian Kindergarten and Nursery School. You were a comfort to me and helped me transition to school. Also, thank you for being a wonderful friend to my mother. She loved the friendship you had with her. Please tell her "hello" from me. I'm sure you guys are having a great time catching up. Love to you and your family.
