Ellis ''Kit'' Ripple, 85, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock. He was born to Katherine Ripple. Ellis graduated from college with a master's degree and became a college professor for many years before retiring. After teaching, he worked as an industrial engineer and later retired. Ellis enjoyed playing golf and gambling. His passion for gambling led to him authoring a best-selling book that taught others how to play blackjack and baccarat.
Ellis is preceded in death by his mother, stepfather, daughter, Beth, and son, Mark Ripple.
He is survived by his significant other, Levetera Ann Mullen, son, Thurstle Mullen; daughters: Teresa Goud (Scott), Melissa Foster; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
All arrangements are under the care of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.

My momma has loved this man for 50 years! She went to New York to be with him, then he came here to be with her! He was my family and I loved him. I will never forget you Kit! I can just see him trying to teach the angels how to play baccarat! Save us a place Kit!
