Ed was such a good man, one of the best and most faithful Christian I've ever known. His kindness, faith, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him. For 27 years, Ed poured his heart into making Osceola better. He helped me understand the inner workings of the city during my early years serving on the city council. I'll always miss his whistling"those cheerful tunes that seemed to carry his joy and lightness wherever he went.
Rest in peace, Ed. Your kindness, your whistle, and your beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.
Dear Glenda and family,
I'm praying for all of you during this time of tremendous loss of Ed. When we were setting up the coffee shoppe downtown, he was so helpful and willing to use his carpentry skills to provide anything we needed. He was a good Christian man who brightened the spirit of all who knew him. He was a good servant to the community. 🙏
We loved Ed so very much. I know he knew it. I'll be forever grateful to Ed for the way he discipled Terry when he was a young Christian. He was always giving of himself in ways for the Lord that I figure few people ever knew about. There will never be another so gentle and kind and standing for the Lord quite like Ed Allred. May God bless you, Glenda, with peace and strength, knowing our God is going to continue to take care of you no matter what.
Certainly a very inspirational and well respected man and friend.
Mr Ed was always a happy smiling person. He was so loved by all that knew him and will be terribly missed in Osceola.
