Mr. Kenneth J. Ramos, 85, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 in Mountain Home. He was born on November 29, 1939 in Joliet, Illinois to Lionel and Margaret (Stover) Ramos. He was married to Lillian (Connelly) Ramos for 45 years.
Kenneth was a Navy veteran, a firefighter in Lockport, Illinois for 17 years, a retired firefighter of 38 years from Northeast Lakeside Department, a retiree in the maintenance department of the Mountain Home School District and the owner of Twin Lakes Insulation. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Commander of the VFW Post 3246 and president of the two-way radio club of Mountain Home, a ham operator and gun enthusiast who loved his family. He was always ready and willing to dole out good advice.
Kenneth is survived by three children, Jeff Ramos (Nancy), Lisa Davis (Chris) and Kimberly Herron (Gary); ten grandchildren, Justyn (Candy), Garret, Amanda, Adam, Nathan, Matthew, Jason, Courtney, Sabra and Tommy; several great-grandchildren and one sister, Charlotte Rogan (Michael). He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and stepfather, Marion E. Masterson.
A visitation will be held between 5-7:00pm on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Roller Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am on Friday, August 22, 2025 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with inurnment to follow at Baxter Memorial Gardens.
Dear Jeff, Kim, Lisa, and families, my heart goes out to each of you in the unexpected passing of your dad. He was so proud of each of you, the people you have become! The
lives you now lead are a tribute to the great love Ken had for all of his family. May God comfort, bless, and keep you.

Mr. Ken has been a great neighbor to us, ever since we moved here 10 years ago. My prayers are with his family at this most difficult time.
My heart reaches out to you and your family. I had the pleasure to know Mr. Ken and family members. I met Mr. Ken at the VFW many years ago. He served our community well. Your are in my prayers.

I've known Ken for several years . Hadn't seen him awhile was not able to attend Mass. He was a pleasant person who will be missed . To his family I'm so sorry for your loss.
