Clydine Turner

of Jacksonville, AR

June 19, 1934 - August 9, 2025

Clydine Townsend Turner, age 92, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025. She was born at the family home in Lonoke, Arkansas to Emma Lou and Clyde Townsend on June 19, 1934.

Clydine was a homemaker and worked for Dr. Keith Martin at the Cabot Animal Clinic for 20 years before retiring and enjoying her home with her loving husband, JB Turner, of 63 years.

Clydine was a member of Bayou Meto Baptist Church for many years where she especially loved her Sunday School class.

Clydine was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Emma Lou Townsend and husband, JB Turner.

Clydine is survived by son, Richard (Connie) Turner of Calico Rock, Arkansas; daughter, Tamela Turner Seldess of Kamas, Utah and sister, Kay (Tommy) Moore of Shreveport, Louisiana; grandchildren, Lance (Laura) Turner of Sherwood, Arkansas, Sarah (Ward) Smith of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Ethan Seldess of Kamas; great-grandchildren, Lane Smith, Londyn Smith of Stuttgart and Elizabeth Turner of Sherwood; a nephew, Brady (Deborah) Moore of Little Rock, Arkansas and niece, Kristy (John) Slotts of West Helena, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Bayou Meto Baptist Church, 26200 AR-107, Jacksonville, AR 72076.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 17th from 2:00 ā€" 4:00 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Graveside service will be held Monday, August 18th at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock.
