Cora Sue Elliott

Cora Sue Elliott

of Conway, AR

November 1, 1944 - August 7, 2025

Cora Sue Elliott (Sue) was born on November 1,1944 in Randolph County, Arkansas to Carlos Wooldridge and Ruby Crady Wooldridge.
At an early age, the family moved to the bootheel of Missouri and settled near the town of Cardwell, where they remained until Sue married Jim Elliott on July 8,1961. They were together for 64 years, until her passing on August 7, 2025.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; her son, Steve Elliott; daughters, Sheila Deloney and husband, Jeff, and Tiffany Dycus and husband, Greg; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sue is also survived by her brother, Kenneth Wooldridge, and her sister, Dora Daniels.
Sue was employed at The Colony Shop, First National Bank, and the Arkansas Department of Health before retiring in 1995. She was extremely family-oriented and devoted her non-working time to her family. She was a long-time member of the University Church of Christ and was baptized into that faith as a child.
The family extends their deepest thanks to the angels of Arkansas Hospice for their kind, considerate attention and care. We especially wish to thank our two former neighbors, Mary Ann Cooksey and Gretchen Thorn, who provided loving care and companionship to Sue on a daily basis-you are like family to us.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
