Verlia Mae Wilkerson, age 92, of North Little Rock passed away on August 6, 2025. She was born on October 17, 1932 in Rose Bud, Arkansas to the late James Herbert and Cordie Mae Healy.
Verlia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, William Dale Wilkerson; daughter, Judy Tevebaugh; son-in-law, Rick Riker and five siblings, Jake, Willie, Virginia, Buell and Dane.
Affectionately known as ''Mamaw'', Verlia was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church. She touched countless lives during her more than 30 years of service in daycare, nurturing and caring for generations of children.
She is survived by her loving children, Linda (Eddie) Mollette of Sherwood, Beverly (Kenny) Elliott of Conway, Debra Riker of Benton, Terry (Lisa) Wilkerson of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and Paul (Lynne) Wilkerson of Pangburn. Verlia leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and numerous other cherished family members.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Gentiva Hospice and Spring Creek Health and Rehab for their compassionate care and support.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. A committal service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
