Lucille Norman James, 86, of Collierville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the Diversicare Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Martin, Tennessee.
Lucy was born in 1938 and spent her early years in Dyersburg, Tennessee. She later met her beloved husband, Bobby James, and together they moved to Wilson, Arkansas, where they made their home for many years. Most recently, she returned to Tennessee to be closer to family.
Known for her kindness, warmth, and loving spirit, Lucy touched the lives of many. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Throughout her life, she was also a dedicated business owner who built lasting relationships through her compassion and generosity.
Lucy's family and friends will always remember her as someone who brought light and love into every room she entered.
Lucy is survived by her son, Bob James of Collierville, Tennessee; granddaughter, Arielle Russell of Layton, Utah; sister, Nora Pfeifer of Collierville, Tennessee; and brothers, James Norman and William Norman, both of Dyersburg, Tennessee. She also leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones who will cherish her memory.
A public visitation to honor Lucy's life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N. Pine Street, West Memphis, AR. Following the service, a brief graveside ceremony will take place at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas, at 2:30 pm.
