In Loving Memory of Linda Kay Keeter
Linda Kay Keeter, lovingly known as Kay, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was surrounded by the people she cherished most, her beloved family, just as she had always surrounded them with love, grace and unwavering care.
Kay is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Rickey Keeter, who stood faithfully by her side through life's every season together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter and faith. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughters, Stephanie Mallett and Andee Ingram and a mother-in-law who treated her two sons-in-law, Calvin Mallett and Justin Ingram, like her own. She is also survived by her sister, Billie Heenan. Her love only grew as her family did. She leaves behind a legacy in her grandchildren, Cody Casteel (Lacey), Stockton Mallett (Lexi), Landon Ingram, Allyn Ingram, Trey Mallett (Jess), Justin Holt (Rachel) and Erica Towell (Blake) and her great-grandchildren, Kayden, RayLynn, Brixen, Anna, Lilly, Kinley, Emersyn and Brady Calvin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvie and Willma Kelley and her sister, Genice Jefferson.
Kay was a devoted member of Cedar Grove Church where she and Rickey attended faithfully. She spent 50 years working as a beautician, but her work extended far beyond the chair. Kay had a rare gift for making people feel seen, valued and beautiful, inside and out. To know Kay was to be truly blessed and to be loved by her was one of life's greatest gifts.
A visitation to celebrate and honor Kay's life will be held at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In keeping with her humble spirit, a private graveside service will be held in lieu of a traditional funeral.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of the Ozarks and the many nurses and medical staff at Highlands Oncology and Baxter Health that cared for, comforted and loved her during her many years of battling cancer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Georges Creek Cemetery Fund to help with care and maintenance of the cemetery. Georges Creek Cemetery ℅ Nancy Bergeron, 261 Marion County 4005, Yellville, AR 72687-9352

Rick and Stephanie and family so sorry for your loss. May you be comforted in your wonderful memories. I look forward to the promise of Revelation 21:4 where we won't have mourning or sickness or death.
Kay and I became great friends in 1990 when we moved to Mtn. Home. We sat through many basketball games together. Rick was the Athletic Director and Dennis was the high school boys basketball coach from 1990-2002.
What a precious family! Kay always wore a smile and was always truly interested in her clients and her friends. We shared much and confided in each other on many occasions.
I will treasure all of our memories made together through the years.
Kay was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, mother in law, and grandmother and great grandmother. She loved with all of her heart. She was soo very proud of her family!
Her loss will be deeply felt by so many. Personally, I will always cherish our time spent together mainly at her beauty shop and in the stands of ballgames. Kay was a gem!
Dennis and I are praying for Rick and Stephanie, and Andee and ALL of the family. Kay was certainly proud of you all and loved every one of you!!
You are All so very Blessed !! Treasure your time and memories made with her. Loss and grieving aren't easy, however, always keep your eyes on Heaven. One day each of you will be with her again. Until then, feel her with you Always.
