Vonda Sue Ashcraft, of Kensett, Arkansas departed this earth on Saturday, July 26, 2025 in Searcy, Arkansas at the age of 62 years. She was born to Paul Murl and Orene Dorothalou Nipper Jones on Feb 7, 1963 in Mena Arkansas. She was of the Pentecostal Faith & attended church with her family growing up.
Sue enjoyed spending time with her family, children & grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and camping, playing Yahtzee and card games. In her younger days, she also enjoyed hunting & fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; two grandsons, Johnathan Ashcraft, affectionately called Bebe by his grandma and an infant grandson, Austin Ashcraft; three brothers; one sister and in-laws.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald Ray Ashcraft, who she married on December 10, 1982; two sons, Christopher (Nancy) Ashcraft, Johnathan (Tiffany) Ashcraft; two daughters, Jennifer (Irving) Perez, Christina Ashcraft-Jewell (Dillon) Farrish; thirteen grandchildren, Brandon, Allie, & Ashley Decasez, Noah & Brieanna Perez Colton, Alexandria & Aubrianna Ashcraft, Chelsea, Logan & Ethan Ashcraft, Tyler Ashcraft and Christian Bland; along with two great grandchildren, Ansley & Leon; Her siblings and their spouses, Wanda (Tim) Fagan, Matt (Julie) Jones, Aleta (Doyne) Turner, Maleta (Steve) Bruce, Carolyn Jones-Garcia, Christy (Dusty) Yardley, Anthony (Alex) Jones, Elena (Ramon) Martinez, Kayla (Cesar) Alonso; along with a host of nieces & nephews and other family members and friends.
Services will be at First Baptist Church in Judsonia, Arkansas at 2:00 PM Friday, August 1, 2025. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia, Arkansas with Brother Cary Rosenbaum.

My condolences to all her family. I grew up with her in grade school. She was so kind and sweet to everyone. I reached out to her on facebook a few years ago and we verified that she was married to one of my Ashcraft cousins. REST IN PEACE, Vonda Sue.
