Hazel Ivy Floyd, age 94, of Parkin, Arkansas departed this life peacefully on July 26, 2025 surrounded by her cherished family. Born December 6, 1930 in Tupelo, Mississippi to Fred and Mattie Lou Ivy.

Hazel was married to her beloved husband, Eddie Floyd for 75 years. She found fulfillment in her roles as a school crossing guard and as a master gardener at Southland Dog Track. Ultimately concluding her professional journey as a cashier there as well. Hazel radiated warmth and vitality earning a reputation for her candidness and straight forwardness in expressing her thoughts. Her spirited personality made her a memorable presence in the lives of those around her.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Floyd; her parents, Fred and Mattie Lou Ivy; two sons, Larry and Rickey Floyd; grandson, Chris Floyd; four sisters, Pauline Cameron, Francis Annis, Udell McCoy and John-lou Russell and one brother, Cecil Ivy.

Left to cherish her memories are one grandson, Michael (Lisa) Floyd; four great-grandchildren, Elissa, Brooklynd (Cameron), Landon and Marley; four great-great-grandchildren, Jace, Adalyn, Kayson and Kayden; one sister, JoAnn Annis; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

I was blessed to have met Hazel she was one of s kind always making you laugh. We share a granddaughter together and I promise to always keep her close and watch over her. Loved you Mamaw ♥️

So sorry to hear of Mrs Hazel's passing. I have known her many years. Ricky and I started school together. Did her hair for many years. Her and my mom were friends since the 60's My prayers goes out to her family.
