Peggy Carr, 79, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 surrounded by her family in Marion, Arkansas. She was born in Wynne, Arkansas on Tuesday, October 30, 1945 to Floyd Wilson and Versie Wilson.
Peggy was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Memphis. She enjoyed reading, playing and cheating at Scrabble and sewing. She was the secretary at West Helena Baptist and Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters Tracy Robbins (Robbie) of Marion, Arkansas, Melanie Carr of Marion, Arkansas and stepdaughter Laura Pearson of Alabama; stepson, Keith Carr ( Teri) of Virginia; grandchildren, Amy Fahlberg (Eric), Ashley Wilson, Rebecca Welch (Shawn), Sarah Hardel (Chaz), Rachel Carr, Amanda Carr, Lindsey Aycock (Shawn), Alex Robbins (Kelsey) and Kristen Robbins; great-grandchildren, Hannah Bentley, Emily Bentley, May Welch, Henry Welch, Coco Hardel, Deano Hardel, Mayve Aycock, Sawyer Robbins and Deacon Robbins.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Carr; parents, Floyd Wilson and Versie Wilson; brothers Dickie Wilson and Mike Wilson; stepson, Bruce Carr.
A funeral service honoring the life of Peggy Carr will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Josh Hall will officiate.
