Linda Marie Alford, age 73, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 in Mountain Home, AR surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 18, 1952 in Memphis, TN to Harvey and Mary (Mitchell) Ballard.

Linda and Brian have lived in the area for 39 years, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with family and friends. She especially liked visiting with friends on Saturday nights at the Music on the Square.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Alford of the home; her daughters, Jennifer Alford-Watson (Chris) of Harrison, AR and Valerie Scott (Jennifer Godwin) of Decatur, IL; a brother, Skipper Ballard (Deborah) of Olive Branch, MS; her Father and Mother-in-law, James and Nancy Alford of Mountain Home, AR; Two grandchildren; a great granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wayne Ballard.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 28, 2025 at 5 to 7 pm at the Roller-Burns Funeral Home with a graveside service and burial at 10 AM Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the Layton Cemetery with Jim Collins officiating.

Linda was more like my daughter than my niece. From the time she was born we were close. She had a great funny personality. She will be greatlly missed.
