Evelyn Lorine English, 87, of Searcy passed away peacefully at home July 23, 2025. Evelyn was born in Antioch to Lucy and Alton Boyd (deceased) on September 7,1937.
Evelyn was a talented homemaker and a cake decorator for several years at Piggly Wiggly. She was also a factory worker. Her hobbies were growing flowers, crocheting and sewing. Evelyn enjoyed making many of her children's clothing.
Evelyn loved family and spending time with them. She and Pascal (Pat) took their children camping and picnicking, making lots of summer memories. Their annual fall cookout was anticipated by many over the years.
Evelyn is survived by 4 children, Susan (Dave) Gilbert of Searcy, Kevin (Kacie) English of Searcy, Anthony (Sharon) English of Searcy, Stephanie Bennett of McRae; 13 grandchildren, David (Jessica) Gilbert, Westley (Eleni) Gilbert, Blake English, Cody Bennett, Jerica (Blake) Meek, Stormey Morton, Cody (Morgan) Mays, Hunter (Jennifer) English, Addison (Santana) English, Hailee (Austin) Ballard, Landon (Alexis) Jones, Logan, Jessica (Joey) Vaughn and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Gladys Dean (Roger) Herekamp of McRae, Eva Wortham of Beebe and Mamie (Gary) of Walnut Ridge and Two brothers, Alton (Martha) Boyd and Jimmy (Diane) Boyd of Searcy.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pascal (Pat) English; her parents, Lucy and Alton Boyd and 3 brothers, Lin, Jerrell and Wayborn.
The family would like to express appreciation and thanks to the caring ladies who helped in a great way taking care of our precious mom, Shelly Reeves, Carol Hawkins, Kathryn Sawyer, Linda Brewer and Lori McDole.
Visitation will be Monday, 7/28/2025 at 6-8pm at Roller Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Memorial service will take place Tuesday, 7/29/2025 at 10 am, also at Roller Daniel Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sidon Cemetery.

I have pts of special memories of Evelyn, I was a little girl when I remember her and Pascal. We went to church together, my parents were life friend with them. She was a quiet, sweet lady. Praying for God peace to be with the family.
