of Conway, AR
June 20, 1948 - July 22, 2025
Bronnie Dellane Hogue Long-Taylor, 77, of Conway, Arkansas passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Dellane was born on June 20, 1948 in Conway, Arkansas to Gerald Elijah and Bronnie Hogue. She was a proud graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, class of 1966 and went on to earn an associate degree from Central Baptist College. She married Larry Long on March 7, 1968 and subsequently married Ronnie Taylor on September 4, 1998.
Family was the heart of Dellane's world. She loved fiercely and unconditionally and her warmth extended to friends and anyone lucky enough to know her. A devoted supporter of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she could be found at a game or event, if she was able, cheering passionately for the Mayflower Eagles, the Arkansas Razorbacks and any team of which her family was a part.
Dellane's joy was infectious and her zest for life was evident in the little pleasures she adored, spending time with loved ones, having shopping outings, enjoying a good meal and always relishing a dessert, ESPECIALLY chocolate! She found great pleasure and community at the Conway and Mayflower Senior Citizen Centers, particularly in the competitive fun of Bean Bag Baseball.
Dellane's unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her well-worn, tattered Bible was filled with highlighted passages, handwritten notes and lovingly folded pages, showing the true reflection of her deep spiritual devotion. She cherished the Word of God and could quote scriptures with ease, always eager to share wisdom and comfort with those around her. Prayer was second nature to Dellane; she lifted up the names of loved ones, friends and even strangers she encountered, believing in the power and peace it could bring. A lifelong learner, she found enjoyment in visiting churches of all kinds, embracing diverse teachings and perspectives to deepen her understanding of God's love. Her faith wasn't just something she believed in, but was something she lived and breathed every single day.
She is survived by her brother, Gerald Doyne Hogue (Vivian); her sons, Clay Long and Chris Long (Shawna); daughter-in-law, Shelley Fugatt; grandchildren, Bradley Long (Courtney), Brooke Long, Tori Fugatt, Taylor Hall (Corbin), Zak Fugatt, Gabriela Mendoza, Jeffery Lasley and great-grandchildren, Ethan McCoy, Nadya Mendoza, Evan Lasley, Abigail Long, Ellie Lasley, Ryzer Long and Cora Long. She had many extended friends and cherished family members who brought joy and love into her life. She also leaves behind her beloved granddogs, Lottie and Bonnie Long.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Cinnamon Garrett for her compassionate care and shared a mutual enjoyment of Family Feud; to the dedicated staff at Superior Health and Rehabilitation for their support during rehab, to Baptist Health Conway staff for their care and to Gentiva Hospice, especially Sarah Derrick, for her gentle, dignified care in Dellane's final days.
Dellane's life was one filled with unlimited love, laughter, chocolate and strong devotion and that is what will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service will be in Conway at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home at 1 p.m. August 2, 2025 with a visitation at noon.
I am so sorry to hear of Dellane's passing, but so happy she is where she worked for faithfully to be! Can you imagine seeing the things you have read of in the Bible...and meeting your Savior!
I didnt know Dellane well but I heard my mother, Ferne Pettingill, speak lovingly about her many times. Prayers for comfort and peace in the coming days.
Dellene was a very special lady in my young days. We would always stop at her house on the way home from school and she would always have a snack for us even though we just lived around the corner. We grew up with clay and Chris.
