Ricky D. White of Heth, Arkansas passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, July 20. He was born in Forrest City and grew up in Blackfish Lake, Arkansas where he developed a strong work ethic and deep love for family that would define his life.
Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Marie White; parents, Johnny C. And Margaret B. White and siblings, Johnny C. White Jr (JC), Bobby Farrel, Delton White, Judy Williams and Earline Mitchell.
In 1976, Ricky proudly joined the United States Army and was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska serving in Air Defense. After his honorable service, he returned home and entered into a successful business partnership with Junior Pullin, working side by side for 38 years.
In May of 1983, Ricky married Rachel Pullin and together they built a loving home grounded in faith, family and commitment. Ricky was a devoted husband, father and Pappaw. His strength, generosity and loyalty will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children: Jeff Holt (Bethany Holt) of Wynne, AR, Wesley D. White (Amber White) of West Memphis, AR and Kendall D. White (Jamie White) of Wynne; grandchildren: Blakelee White, Makenzie White and Brycen Holt and great-grandson: Waylon Brooks White.
Ricky is also survived by his siblings: Frank White (Nancy White) of Heth, AR, Gay Pullin (Junior Pullin) of Heth, AR, Wanda Terrett (George Terrett) of Mayfield, KY and Stella Stanley (David Stanley) of Heth, AR.
He attended Calvary Apostolic Church in Wynne. Ricky's life was a testament to faith, dedication and love; a legacy that will live on in those he cherished.
A service honoring Ricky's life will be held at Calvary Apostolic Church in Wynne, AR. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and celebrate his memory.
