On July 15, 2025, Faye Maxine Keown was greeted by Jesus and is in heaven today singing her favorite songs with her precious hugs for all her people.
Maxine was born March 12, 1927, in Judsonia, Arkansas to the late Arthur and Lillie Swan. She was 98 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Dennis Keown, a lifelong farmer of Lee County, Arkansas, three brothers, one sister, two sons, and a granddaughter.
Maxine and Dennis were devoted to their three children, Brenda Joyce (Cheney), John Wayne, and Horace Dale. Maxine loved her extended family and, at last count, had 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
After her children got older, Maxine worked with Dr. Thomas Cremeen and Dr. Robert Hayes in Marianna. She loved and was loved by many in the community.
She lived her life for the Lord and was baptized August 7, 2007. She was a member of Harvestland Church in Moro, where services will be officiated by Pastor Mike Sanders at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Burial services will follow at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Maxine was such a sweet lady. I met her at Haynes baptist church. I always looked forward to seeing her and Jeanette. As Christians, we know she is now with our Lord
