Gary Wayne Anderson, 61, of Batesville passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025.
He was born July 26, 1963 in Batesville to Fairl Anderson and Verneal (Brewer) Anderson Ackerman.
Gary was an avid hunter of deer and squirrel. He loved nature and riding horses. He was a licensed pest control exterminator and a craftsman. Gary built birdhouses and chicken coops. He loved to make people laugh and was very compassionate. Gary was the only boy out of 10 cousins and he took care of his girl cousins.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela (Handy-See) Anderson; his father, Fairl Anderson of Batesville; one sister, Sandra Miller (Mark) of Batesville; two uncles, Von and Robert Brewer; one aunt, Connie Watkins; one nephew, Wesley Miller, and five cousins, Nancy Buie, Kathy Anderson, Diane Herndon, Steve Sanders, and Rebecca Younger.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Verneal Ackerman, his paternal and maternal grandparents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
No services are scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Independence County, 5 Environmental Drive, Batesville, AR 72501.
