Dorothy Stewart, 90, of Mountain View, Arkansas entered into rest on July 11, 2025 in Mtn. View, Arkansas. She was born September 15, 1934 in the Luber Community to Jacob and Myrtis Richardson.
Dorothy retired from Blanchard Shirt Factory where she worked as a machine operator. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Dorothy was a member of School Avenue Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and tending to her flowers.
She is survived by her sons, John (Karen) Stewart and Kevin (Tanya) Stewart; her brother, Ralph Richardson; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Myrtis Richardson; husband, J.D. Stewart; three sons, Randy Stewart, Terry Stewart and Bradley Stewart and her sister, Doris Beckham.
Pallbearers are Mark Wilson, Danny Shepherd, Mason Stewart, Dean Kirby, Harley Barker and Orlin Bucholtz.
Honorary Pallbearers are Kason Miller, Layton Luther and Kyler Gammill
A visitation will be held Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 6:00PM- 8:00PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 at 2:00PM at the School Avenue Church of Christ with Brother Dan Stewart officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Legacy Hospice, Amanda Gifford, R.N. and the aides for keeping our mother comfortable.
We would also like to give a special thank you to her granddaughter, Kayla Miller, Margaret Rackley, Mark and Shirley Wilson and Danny and Linda Shepherd for helping take care of our mom.
