Marion H. ''Sonny'' Goodwin, Jr. passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 at his home in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Sonny was born on August 31, 1946 in Memphis, Tennessee to M.H. Goodwin, Sr. and Wynette Logan Goodwin.
Sonny grew up in Memphis and graduated from Treadwell High School. He excelled in his career as a salesman and upon retirement, moved to Mountain Home. He spent most of his life hunting, fishing, being outdoors and took great pride in gardening or working around his property in Mountain Home.
Sonny is survived by his sister, Glenda Yarbrough (David); niece, Rachael Yarbrough (Tyler); nephew, Reid Yarbrough (Laurie) and his great-nieces and nephews, Miller Yarbrough, Jane Yarbrough, Hawkins Wheeler and Reid Yarbrough; cousins in Tennessee and Mississippi and his best friend and neighbor, Russell Watt.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Mississippi.
