Mark Hatcher, 61, of Subiaco, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2025 in Clarksville.
He was born on September 16, 1963 in Ozark, Arkansas to his parents, Jackie Hatcher and Betty (Rennie) Hatcher. He worked for Greenville Tubing in Clarksville for seven years before going to work at Sara Lee or Hanes for thirty-two years as a (AGLC tech) Automatic Gussett & Line Closer. After retiring from Hanes, he was the founder and chief of the Mockingbird Meat Company making jerky and summer sausages. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus in Scranton and the Scranton Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed duck hunting, deer hunting, fishing for catfish, bream or crappie, running trotlines, fixing sewing machines and watching his grandchildren play sports. Mark was the type of person that was always willing to help others out in their time of need.
In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Martin; a brother, David Hatcher and his sister-in-law, Betty Schluterman.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Evelyn (Schluterman) Hatcher of Subiaco; three daughters, Anna McDonald and husband, Hayden of Charleston, Megan Hatcher of Subiaco and Becky Hatcher of Subiaco; three brothers, Wayne Hatcher and wife, Terry of Clarksville, Michael Hatcher and wife, Christy of Scranton and Patrick Hatcher and wife, Becky of Subiaco; three grandchildren, Sophia McDonald, Sadie McDonald and Jacob McDonald; his in laws, Agnes Schluterman, Milly Schluterman and Stan Schluterman of Subiaco, Doris and Larry Lensing of Scranton, Fred Schluterman and Cindy Short of Subiaco, Alice & Gerry Wewers of Subiaco, Dennis and Kathy Schluterman of Paris, Matt & Shelley Schluterman of Scranton, Janet Schluterman and Steve Elsken of Paris, Gerald and Shawn Schluterman of Subiaco, Debbie and Marcus Rainwater of Ratcliff, Donna and Charlie Wilhite of Subiaco, Laura and Sonny Bowman of Ozark, Greg and Amy Schluterman of Subiaco; brother-in-law, Craig Martin of Paris and sister-in-law, Kim Hatcher of Paris; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A rosary service will begin at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, July 4, 2025 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco. The family will visit with friends 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the rosary.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Mark Stengell O.S.B. with burial to follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery.
Funeral mass and arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Wewers, Kyle Wewers, Matthew Hatcher, Devin Hatcher, Stephen Hatcher, Jack Martin, Evan Johnson and Nick Schluterman.
Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews.

I've had yall in my thoughts and prayers because mere words cannot express the emotions you have right now. Please take care of each other. I know you will. Remember to continue to laugh. My condolences for your loss. I didn't know Mark, but his Grandpa Harold was my cousin. I grew up living near the family when Jackie was younger and Bill was still in school.
