Judy and her older brother, the late Richard Willson, were raised in Rockford, Illinois. Judy graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Childhood Education.

Judy married the late Mike Behrens and together they raised three children, Christina Strickland (Chrissa) of Fort Worth Texas, David Behrens of Dallas, Texas, and Lisa O'cain of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Judy also has 6 grandchildren, Christy Loftus, Nicholas Strickland, Madison Strickland, Brooklyn Behrens, Willson Behrens, and Breean Behrens. Judy was active in the Tea Party and the Republican Party as well as civic organizations like Haven House where she served on the board of directors. Judy was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, Arkansas and would attend St. Francis of Assisi in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas when she was at her lake house. Judy returned to Catholic Faith after a 50-year absence and her story was told on Catholics Come Home show which aired on EWTN the global Catholic Television Network and is available for viewing on YouTube which discusses her life journey, Catholics Come Home | Season 3 | Episode 8, Judy Behrens YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drUzT9-SQEM).

Judy was always happiest floating on a noddle at her Greers Ferry Lake cabin and will be greatly missed by her family and employees. A special thanks from the family to Tayna Mannon and Lisa O'cain who cared for Judy in her last days.

There will be a Rosary and Visitation starting at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, Arkansas. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am.

My heart goes out to you during this unbearable loss. Your mom's impact on my life was immense - she gave me my first job at Baskin Robbin's and I'll always cherish that memory . May the love and memories you shared with her bring you comfort and peace. You, David, and Lisa are in my thoughts and prayers.
