Gloria Kay Lacey

of Bryant, AR

January 29, 2025

Gloria Kay Lacey, lovingly known as Kay, passed from this life on January 29, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on August 21, 1955, to Grady and Doris Warren. Kay grew up in Clarksville alongside her brother, Grady Don Warren, and attended school there.

Kay spent her early adult years in Texarkana, Arkansas, where she devoted herself to raising her two sons while working at Johnson Controls. In 1992, she proudly earned her nursing degree from the University of Arkansas at Hope, beginning a new chapter in a life defined by compassion and care for others.

In July of 1996, Kay married the love of her life, Bobby Lacey. Together, they shared many memorable years in Brunswick, Georgia, before settling in Bryant, Arkansas, where they enjoyed their retirement.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents and her brother. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bobby Lacey of Bryant, AR; her sons, Michael Shane Powell of Avery, TX, and Justin Lollar and his wife, Tasha, of Gobles, MI; her cherished grandchildren, Madilyn (Maddie) Powell of Ruston, LA, and Vladi Lollar of Gobles, MI; and her dear sister-in-love, Alice Bailey of Panama City, FL.

Kay's love, warmth, and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 30, 2025 in the Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Shults officiating.

Kay was type of person if she knew you was hurting she would be there for you without you asking and she wouldn't leave till she knew you were safe again.
That's the way she was with me and Norma when I was hospitalized for a neck
Surgery. Thank you Kay for being our wonderful friend.
