Lynn Mitchell James, 82, of Jonesboro, AR, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at his home. He was born August 6, 1942, in Frenchman Bayou, AR, to Gaston and Audi (Lawrence) James. Lynn was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing and hunting with his nephews, Jeff James and Gary Dawson.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Glenn James; and three siblings.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include a daughter, Patricia Erwin; six grandchildren; a sister, Oleta Woodward; nephews, Jeff James and Gary Dawson; and his best friend, Gloria Graham.
No services are scheduled.
Lynn is under the care of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of my cousin, Lynn James. I have known him all my life. He was a great outdoorsman. Lynn lived his life to the fullest every single day. We will miss him. May the Good Lord help his family through this tragedy.
