G. Wayne Morris, age 62, was born March 2, 1963 to parents, Thomas and Myrtle ''Sally'' Linda (Alexander) Morris in Little Rock, Arkansas. He passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Wayne served in the Army National Guard for six years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lesia (Risner) Morris; daughter, Magen Brown and husband, Christopher and daughter, Morgen Morris; he was Poppy to three granddaughters, Kinlee Beth, Konner Renai and Ruby Jayne Brown; brother, Ronny Morris and wife, Linda; sister-in-law, Patricia Ross and husband, Robert; brother-in-law, Brad Risner and wife, Leah; most special friend, Rodney Williams and wife, Melissa; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sally Morris, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Benny and Cloyce Risner.
A private service will be held at a later date.

As a classmate I have many fond memories of Wayne. He always was a kind person and was never ashamed to proclaim Jesus as his savior even as a teenager. I'm praying for his wife and family as I know they were his heart and soul.
