Ricky Lee Platt, 69, of Proctor, AR received his eternal reward in the early morning hours on Sunday, June 8th, 2025. Ricky was born December 2nd, 1955 in Harrisburg, AR.
Ricky is preceded in death by his father and mother Donald Platt and Stella Platt, brothers Elmer Platt, Arlie Platt, and Donald Platt, sisters Virginia Kirk and Linda Whitted, and granddaughter Katarina Parnell. Ricky is survived by his wife of 47 years Cynthia Platt of home, sons and daughter-in-laws Michael and Kayla Platt of Marked Tree, Corey and Melanie Platt of Jacksonville. Three grandsons James Platt, Michael Platt, and Harrison Platt, and a host at nieces. nephews, cousins, church family, and friends. Ricky graduated Truman High School in 1974. He went into construction after graduation and became a carpenter by trade. He was known as a perfectionist that could build anything. He was a proud member of New Life Church in Marion, AR. He was described as a quite strong man with a jolly laugh and good since of humor, strong work ethic and devoted family man. He was an outdoorsman known for his strong passion for fishing and hunting with his sons and other family members. He was also known for his love of motorcycles. He captured the heart of the love of his life on a motorcycle ride. From that point forward, they spent countless miles on the road together. He was very proud at his two sons who meant everything in the world to him. His favorite pastime was spending time with his four grandchildren. Laughing, playing, and riding on the tractor were his favorite
