of North Little Rock, AR
August 12, 1951 - June 5, 2025
John Michael Walker, 74, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed unexpectedly in North Little Rock, Arkansas on June 5, 2025.
John is survived by the love of his life and wife, Virginia Walker, his three sons, Christopher, Stephen and Jeffery; his six grandchildren, Jonathan, Michaela, Tristan, Lucas, Corey and Adalynn. He is also survived by his favorite buddy, Rebel; his brother, Luka and his dogs, Jerry Lee, Nova and Dude. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Connie Jezierski.
John was born on August 12, 1951 in Berwyn, Illinois to Milton and Evelyn Walker. He married his wife of 47 years on February 4, 1978. One year later they would welcome their first child followed by two more, each with a 2-year gap in age. His children will remember him for his work ethic, he never took a day off and for his unfaltering commitment to providing for his wife and three boys. John's grandchildren will remember their ''Grumpy'' and the love and passion he had for each one of them.
John was an accomplished locksmith for many years before he transitioned into Security at Baptist Health. He also had a passion for golf and a short-lived adventure with scuba diving. John was his family's designated photographer that guaranteed hours of pictures to remember the memories he helped to create. In his retirement years, he took trips with his wife, even if those trips only involved going out to eat together and spent many days cuddling with his favorite cat.

Sad day! Lost a dear cousin I spent most of my childhood with. He loved his family so much! I remember when he met Virginia and brought her to Granny's. He had found his soulmate❤️we will all be together again and what a reunion that will be. Prayers and love to Virginia, his sons and grandchildren.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
John was a devoted friend to my Daughter, Carol and family for 40 or so years, and therefore I loved his family. He will be missed. Prayers for Virginia and family
