of Fayetteville, AR
May 4, 2000 - June 5, 2025
Jarrett Brent Zeigler was called home at the age of 25 on June 5, 2025 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at Washington Regional Hospital.
Born on May 4, 2000 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, Jarrett was the beloved son of Rick and Kelley (Wood) Zeigler of Yellville. He grew up exploring the deer woods of the family farm near Dodd City, where he developed a lifelong passion for hunting and rarely missed a shot.
A proud alumnus of Yellville-Summit Schools, Jarrett was active in FFA, football and baseball. However, his true competitive spirit shone through in trap shooting, his favorite sport. He carried that focus and determination into his future career as a welder.
After high school, Jarrett attended North Arkansas College, where he earned his welding degree and began pursuing his dream profession. He contributed to major projects, including welding infrastructure and internal structures at the local Butterball plant. His skills later took him to the gas fields of North Dakota, where he worked as a welder's apprentice with Delta.
Jarrett's love for the outdoors extended into the world of airsoft, which he shared with his older brother, John. His natural marksmanship and strategic mind earned him the nickname ''Wolverine'' on the field, a tribute to his courage and persistence that would later define his journey through life.
Due to a chronic health condition that began in his teens, Jarrett eventually returned to Arkansas. Though welding became physically difficult, he continued working with dedication in the automotive service industry, including positions at Subaru and Valvoline, until he was no longer able to work.
Jarrett is survived by his loving parents, Rick and Kelley Zeigler of Yellville; his brother, John Zeigler and sister-in-law. Sydney and nephew, Denver Zeigler of Fayetteville and his grandmother, Betty Wood of Fayetteville; along with several uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, J.B. Wood of Summit and grandparents, Fred Zeigler, Terry Zeigler Baker and Richard Baker of Flippin.
Jarrett will be remembered for his strong spirit, sharp aim and unwavering courage. His love of family, the outdoors and hands-on work left an indelible mark on everyone blessed to know him.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 with David Wyatt officiating. Interment to follow at Georges Creek Cemetery in Yellville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Len Wood, Ash Wood, John Zeigler, David Carson, Michael Witlock and Ian Parton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Payson Jones, Mikala Parton, Noah Sample, Blan Greer and Mason Barksdale.
