Juanita Pullen

Juanita Pullen

of Conway, AR

March 20, 1951 - May 30, 2025

Juanita Korene Pullen was born to Charlotte and Walter Peterson on March 20, 1951 in Everett, Washington. She later moved to California where she met the love of her life, William Chester Pullen. They were married on August 31, 1966 and were inseparable from that day forward.

Juanita, lovingly known as Nita, Mom and Nene, lived a full and loving life. She was the picture of selfless love. She was always very talented seamstress and could make anything from just a picture. She also made the most beautiful quilts. She had a green thumb and could make anything grow from just a clipping. She loved flowers and the color yellow made her happy. Anyone who knew her loved her and knew of her sweet spirit and generous heart.

Her hard-fought battle with cancer was inspiring, never once complaining and always thinking about our needs until the very end. We will miss her terribly, but we know she is at peace in the arms of her loving Savior and with her first-born grandchild, Mandy Pullen.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William Chester Pullen; her children, Tonia Ray (Darrel) of Conway, AR and Bill Pullen of Booneville, AR; her beloved grandchildren, Nathan Ray (Andi) of Greenville, SC and Hannah Ray of Conway, AR; two sisters, Karen Hall and Marie Flippin (Mark) both of Arizona and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life in their home in Conway on June 14, 2025 at noon.
