Eve was born in Paragould, Arkansas on December 11, 1961 to the late Jesse and Beulah (Henson) Board. She graduated from Neelyville High School in Neelyville, MO and went on to touch the lives of many through her kindness and generosity.
Eve was a dedicated volunteer at Hacker Intermediate School, where she brightened the days of students and staff alike. Her warm smile and comforting presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church, Eve found solace and community in her faith. She leaves behind her beloved husband, John Morgeson, whom she married on May 19, 1980. Eve is also survived by her two daughters, Barbie (Keith) Chafin and Chrissie (Brad) Ford and her eight grandchildren: Breanna (Andrew), Kearstin (Clayton), Payton, Annaleece, Trinity (Kalei), Hunter, Lillie and Daisy. She was a loving sister to Andy, a caring aunt to Bryce and a cherished friend to many, including her dear friend, Lynne Green.
Eve is preceded in death by her parents and her adopted dad, Virdo Anderson. A visitation will be held at Roller Funeral Home on Friday, June 6th from 12:00 to 1:00pm followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm, officiated by Pastor Richard Kellem. Pallbearers honoring Eve's memory will be Payton Chafin, Brad Ford, Hunter Ford, Clayton Kellem, Andrew Miller, Keith Chafin and Bryce Morgeson.
Her legacy of love, laughter and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

You held me when my own mother passed. You promised her you would take care of me- and you always did. I loved you so much Eve. I hope your reunion in heaven was wonderful. John and kids & grandkids- I know you have all suffered a horrible loss. I pray you find peace in knowing you will meet again someday.
Evie was a special person. I feel so privileged to have met and been a part of her life. She was a bright light during a very turbulent time in my life. Thank you, John, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Sorry John may you find peace in our Lord.
We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
Eve and Johnny were very close, loving caregivers to my Uncle Virdo. I wish we could have spent more time with her. May she rest in the loving arms of Jesus.

Hi Eve, it's Dora Cavitt from Hackler Intermediate School.
You were a true light to me and I am saddened of your passing. I had the pleasure of getting to know you this past school year. You introduced yourself and offered your services to help me with my teacher stuff. I will never forget your kindness and your support, but most of all your big heart and love for all.
Dear friend, have fun dancing with angels. May your family find comfort in your memory. You will be missed.

This is not goodbye only a see ya later. I am so thankful to have know Ms. Eve. She was the most kind, compassionate, giving, loving person. She has helped me so many times with copying the newsletter, making countless copies etc, at Hackler. I know she was a child of the King and she is singing in the heavenly choir this morning. She made no bones about her loving her Lord, her husband, her girls and all the grands, along with all the other family. She has left an amazing legacy and memories for all of us. Go rest high on the mountain till we see you again. - Robin Q.
