Molly Whistle Paudert, 97, of Marion, previous long time resident of Osceola, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. She was born on January 26, 1928 to W.W. Watson Jr. ''Buddy'' and Jo Ward Watson. Molly was a homemaker who found joy in gardening, landscaping, being outdoors and fishing.
She had a competitive side to her that came out when playing games with her family, loved telling stories about her time as drum majorette and playing basketball in high school. Molly even had an artistic side to her, so much so that she helped design and furnish a vacation home.
Molly is survived by her daughters, Sarah Chrestman and Sandra Whistle; son, Wade Whistle (Karen); grandchildren, Lori Smithey (Rom), Lauren Whistle, Leigh Anne Chism (Drew), Amy Fischer (Cory), Callie Whistle; great-grandchildren, Knox Fischer, Quinn Fischer, Avery Fischer, Cayden Chism and Owen Chism; sister, Katie Ingram and brother, Bobby Watson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Whistle; her daughter, Sheryl Smithey and her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.

Ms Molly was always such a sweet lady. We would see her often the last few years when she was getting her hair done and I always enjoyed our conversations. She had the best memory, and will be missed. Prayers for the family.
