Mackenzie Louise Arthur, 20, of Scranton, Arkansas passed away alongside her loving sister on Friday, May 30, 2025 in Scranton. She was born on September 30, 2004 in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Mackenzie was a Class of 2023 graduate from Scranton High School where she played on the Scranton golf team and was an active member of the FFA, serving as a Jr. Advisor. She could always be found at the local fairs showing multiple breeds of animals. She was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Scranton where she helped with the technology department and would always make sure the church bulletin was ready for Sunday morning. She was furthering her education at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville where she was majoring in Agriculture Education and worked at Safe Haven as a house parent for women in recovery. She loved the outdoors and had a passion and true talent for photography.
She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Elmo and Louise Cox, Buddy and Delores Arthur and Mildred and Eugene Tillman.
She is survived by her loving parents, J. Arthur and Brittney (Cox) Arthur of Scranton; one brother, Jase D. Arthur of Scranton; her grandparents, Pat Arthur and Stan Mitchusson of Clarksville; John and Billie Arthur of Clarksville, Louise Ashlock and Jack Flaherty of Altus, Junior Ashlock of Clarksville and Jim and Kathy Wagoner of Van Buren and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the Scranton High School Gymnasium officiated by Rev. Colby Hankins and Rev. Carl Mason. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

I don't have the word right now, I had the worst call I have ever received from J, Arthur giving me the news of the tragic loss of their daughters. It's hard to grasp such a loss.
