Martha Louise (McCraw) Howell went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2025. She was 81 years old.
She was born on November 17, 1943 in Pine Bluff, AR to the late John Alvin and Archie Florine McCraw
She is survived by beloved husband, Homer Howell; Her daughter, Barbara Lynne Howell, (Little Rock) and son, William Allen Howell (Lonoke). She has two grandchildren, Jack Thomas Howell and Laila Milani Howell (Lonoke).
Siblings include William Allen and (Carol) McCraw (Mart, TX), Rosalie (McCraw) Singleton (Phillip) of Little Rock, AR and Edna Mae (McCraw) Kelley (Charles) of Winslow, AR.
Martha graduated from LR Central High School and later graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO to become a Christian School Teacher and Bible Teacher.
Martha was a talented seamstress and always willing to sew for family and friends. Upon many talents, she loved working in the garden and canning foods from her own garden. She was a good cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Martha was good at fixing special plates/desserts for special events. Some of her specialties were making Zucchini Bread/Cinnamon rolls that would melt in your mouth.
Martha enjoyed life; she had a sweet spirit every day. She loved her family and siblings very much. She will truly be missed by family along with many friends and acquaintances she has met along the way.
Visitation will be from 9:00am -10:00 am Tuesday, June 3, 2025 and the funeral service with William McCraw officiating will follow at 10:00 am at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, AR. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander, AR. Pallbearers will be Jack Thomas Howell, Phillip Singleton, Donald Davenport, Willie Boyd, Willie Myers and Kelly Penn.

I know your loss is great. Louise was one of the kindest women I knew at Fairview Baptist Church. It was a joy to serve alongside her. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
