Betty Sue Bailey, age 88, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, Hassell Edward Bailey, on May 21, 2025. She was born on January 31, 1937 in Conway to the late Elmer and Effie Compton. Betty was preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters.
Betty was a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and aunt to a very large and loving family. Her life was centered around family nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by loved ones. The walls of her home were lined with photographs and she often said, ''I don't need artwork; these pictures are all the artwork I need.''
Music was another great passion of Betty's. She met her beloved husband through singing and together they shared a deep love for music and for their faith. As devoted Christians, Betty and Ed often sang in church, lifting spirits with their harmonies. Many treasured family reunions were filled with the sound of southern gospel music, with Betty at the heart of it all, singing for hours with her family.
Her legacy of love, faith, music and family will live on through the many lives she touched.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family; daughters, Cynthia Diane Bailey of Conway, AR and Connie Bailey-Blake (Donovan) of Dacula, GA; grandchildren, Ryan Rose (Mandy), Rebecca Walker (Doug), Brandy Egan, Hunter Blake and Connor Blake; great-grandchildren, Robbyn (Rose) Schoonover (Bob), Kiya Egan, Cayden Keele, Cora Keele, Micah Walker, Eli Walker, Reed Rose, Bane Rose and Lexton Corbin; great-great grandchild, Reece Schoonover and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 6-8pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 starting at 2pm. The burial will follow the service at Crestlawn Memorial Park officiating the service will be Brother Bob Fason.

I'm not sure if you can read my typing bc my tears have fulfilled my face. I've started this message and erased it several times bc what do you say You look at ypur family and hold them a bit tighter. You take all the pictures and you enjoy every single breath. Aunt Betty was truly amazing! I'm glad she's not suffering and is worshipping now from the skies above. ðŸ'œ
