Karen Slaughter Kilgore, 56, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away peacefully Monday, May 12, 2025. She was born Monday, May 20, 1968, to Henry Slaughter and Dorothy Thieme Slaughter in Nuremberg, Germany.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Slaughter, of the home, and niece, Alania Ferris, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Slaughter, grandparents, and one brother, David Slaughter.
She was a member of Haynes Baptist Church. She loved water skiing and cross stitching.
Pallbearers will be Hollis Mitchell, Billy Benham, Jerry Colinger, Lance Carrier, Bill Benham, and Ken Benham. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Phillips, Nathan Fields, and Casey Arnold.
Funeral services for Karen will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Don Lewis officiating. Ms Dorothy I am just now finding out about this. I am so very sorry. If I had known I would have been there today. I haven't seen Karen in a long time but she was one of my few true friends I've ever had. My heart is breaking for you because I know how much you loved her. Words can not describe the love and heart felt appreciation we had fir Karen .She was absolutely amazing with Casey and his autism she was the first teacher he ever trusted and she loved him and he loved her .
