Virbil Lee Gasaway, age 93 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, May 12th, 2025 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in the Rock Springs community of
Searcy County, Arkansas on September 24th, 1931 to Jasper Willis Henry and Florence Ellen Cox Henry. Virbil married Roy Namon Gasaway on April 1st, 1947. They were married for 55 years before Roy's death in 2002.
Virbil Lee worked at Flintrock Shirt Factory for 16 years. She loved to garden and especially enjoyed picking blueberries.
Survivors include her children, Larry Gene Gasaway and wife Shirley of Harrison, Randy Allen Gasaway and wife Pam of Marshall and Roylee Ragland of Marshall; one sister, Diane Brewer of Onia; seven grandkids; and a host of great-grandkids, great-great grandkids and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Virbil Lee is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Florence Henry; her husband, Roy Namon Gasaway; and siblings, Emogene Lloyd, Patsy Jones, Virgil Henry, Martin Henry and Leon Henry.
Funeral services for Virbil will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 19th, 2025 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Gary Ragland officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 preceding the service. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery where Virbil Lee will be laid to rest beside her husband, Roy. Bearers will be Ricky Gasaway, Eric Gasaway, Todd Gasaway, Devon Carraway, Logan Carraway and Austin Bridwell.

Sorry for your loss. I can still see her sitting on the porch with her little dog Annie and visiting with everyone that would stop by.
