Isabell Jane Dobbs Ring

of Batesville, AR

April 19, 1933 - May 10, 2025

Isabell Jane Dobbs Ring, 92, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away May 10, 2025. She was born in Portia, Arkansas on April 19, 1933 to Rebecca Jane Jullian and Elmer Dobbs.

She attended First Freewill Baptist Church until she became ill and unable to attend.

Isabell (Bell) was the youngest of nine children. Bell always looked forward to ''sister day'', when the sisters would all get together. They would shop, eat and shop some more. It was always a happy time for her. That and the family reunions.

Bell operated a daycare in her home. She loved children and kept many through the years. On Saturdays, she would clean house, go shopping and be ready for kids on Monday. After Bell retired, she and Bill would travel all over going to yard sales. They also enjoyed camping.

Bell loved cats, enjoyed cooking, especially for her family. Bell's family was her world.

Survivors include sons, Nickey Ring (Phyllis) of Sulphur Rock and David Ring (Phyllis) of Batesville; grandchildren, Nicole Gay (Matt) of Paragould and Erik Goodrich of Batesville; great-grandchildren, Grace, Ella and Grant Gay of Paragould and sister, Juanita Smithee of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Bill Ring; her parents; two brothers, W.T. Dobbs and Roscoe Dobbs and five sisters, Zelma Milligan, Virginia ''Jinnie'' Grady, Zela Holland, Lucille King and Ina Fay Huddleston.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

So sorry for your loss. She was a sweet lady. I always knew my son, Eric was well taken care of and never worried when Bell was keeping him as a toddler. I know all the Mothers felt that way, too. Sending sympathy and prayers to the families. Jan

Sorry for your loss. I miss her. When I seen I thought of Sister week then read where it mentioned sister Day. Granny was old forget my birthday at times because it was during sister week. Great memories of the times I spent at her house and uncle Bill! When I worked at McDonald's he would get hot cakes and say not to tell Isabell! Sorry I won't be able to attend. Sending my prayers.
