Richard Allen Permenter, 68, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on May 8, 2025. He was born August 22, 1956, in Conway, Arkansas. Richard is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William O. Permenter.

Richard worked for many years as a draftsman. As a young adult he enjoyed playing softball. He especially enjoyed collecting antique items including old glass bottles, Richard enjoyed reading and watching murder mysteries and was a big fan of Elvis. Special thanks to CARTI's Dr Mendelson and the three Allison's for their care during treatments. Also, thanks to RN David and CNA Felicia Decker of Hospice Home Care along with the incredible help of Hight House hospice (Melissa Hight and Kate) who care for him in his final weeks. The family would also like to thank all of his friends and relatives who have visited him since he has been ill.

There will be a visitation at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, followed by graveside services at Crestlawn Memorial Park at 11:00am.

Arlie & Joann & Family,
So sorry about the loss of your sweet brother. We enjoyed our visits with him in the last few months. He remained strong in his faith and always optimistic during these times. You had wonderful parents who set an excellent example in how to serve the Lord. They continually provided much assistance to us and ministry to our family and every family in the Church from the time we met them. We will be forever grateful for their love and dedication in showing us how to train up a child. We love your family and always appreciate your continued ministry and outreach to others in time of need. Blessings on you and prayers for your family in the days ahead.

Richard was a great neighbor to us.
He always had the best attitude and outlook on life when I visited with him.
He loved to talk about Jesus and heaven every time we talked.
