Charles Ray King, 78, passed away on May 5, 2025. He was born in Earle, AR on February 15, 1947 to Dolphus and Prediuth King and grew up in a large family of 13 brothers and sisters.

Charlie married the love of his life, Patricia (Lenggenhager) on May 20, 1967. This year would have been their 58th anniversary. They had two children, Angie (King Carmical) & Chuck (King), whom they adored. Above all he was a devoted dad and shared a close bond with his grandson, Chad.

A simple man who loved the outdoors, nature, hunting and fishing. Charlie would be the one to tell a good story and bring a smile to your face around the campfire. He faced many challenges in his lifetime including surviving cancer. But he never let those things get him down. His spirit couldn't be contained and his perseverance was admirable.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolphus and Prediuth King; brothers, Edward, Melvin, Wayne, Chester, and D.J. King and sisters, Roxy King, Pearl Raymond, Raymell Nottenkamper, Edith King.

He leaves behind his wife, Pat King, his son, Charles Ray King Jr. (Kimberly), his daughter, Angela King Carmical (Corey). Grandsons, Charles (Chad) King and Logan Brown. Brothers, Buddy, Donold, and Harold King and sister, Marie Ivy and a multitude of nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and in-laws.

Funeral services will be held at Roller Drummond Funeral Home 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209 on Saturday, May 10, 2025. There will be visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m. and service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. All friends and family are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
