of Jacksonville, AR
December 31, 1962 - May 6, 2025
Timothy Howard Hardin, age 62, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away May 6, 2025.
He was born on December 31, 1962, to the late Fred and Viola Hardin in Marianna, Arkansas.
When Tim wasn't working as a mechanic, he could be found in his shop tinkering on a car, tractor, lawn mower, bicycle, and anything else that needed fixing. His evenings spent sitting dangerously close to his wood stove, always with a family member, friend, or stranger on their way to becoming a friend that had stopped by for a visit, or to make a deal or trade.
He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication and integrity in his devoted wife of 40 years, Rita Hardin and his children, Alicia (Daniel) Olden, Justin (Amanda) Hardin, Sam (Alexis) Hardin, and his grandchildren, Wyatt Olden, Kinsley Hardin, and Haylee Hardin. They were all his greatest blessing and proudest achievement. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends that he has loved selflessly and mentored throughout the years that will no doubt carry with them countless lessons and life skills that he taught them all along the way.
Tim is also survived by six siblings, Margaret Kirk, Caroline Slane, Mike Hardin (Sherry), David Hardin, John Hardin (Deanna) and Rhonda Thornsberry (Michael). He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Viola Hardin, his brothers, Charles Hardin, Lane Hardin, Doyle Hardin, and sister, Thelma Reunard.
