Donnie was a good man. He is our Cousin and I remember him having good crops. We were close to Elizabeth as she was like a Sister to my Mom, Anita Gayle. My Grandparents Louis and Zola Bishop helped to raise Elizabeth. Good memories.
I was fortunate to have Donnie as a friend for at least 40 years. A slice of Americana is gone and will never be duplicated. He was a bright fellow and had the ability to size people up pretty quick. I will miss and his call. Clint
We were very sorry to hear about your loss. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
I'm honored to have known Mr Donnie and thankful that our paths crossed when I needed a familiar tie to something back home. He was not without fault but also a good man whom I'm thankful to have called a friend. May peace be with you B, Cha, Pam and the rest of the family.
You will be greatly missed!!
My favorite memory of Donnie is after telling him I'd never been to Southland Park he insisted i go
He showed me what i needed to know about the dogs and left me to make my own bets. He was a terrible teacher though; i lost every race i bet on!
He will be missed
