Anna Mae Dirst Shelton was born August 7, 1935 at Rush, Arkansas to Jorene Hudson Dirst and Fred Dirst. She passed away April 29, 2025 in Yellville, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Shelton and by her brothers, John and Russell Dirst. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Laura Shelton of Conway; daughter, Charla Mann of Rogers; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Richard Satter of Mountain Home; nine grandchildren, Corey Shelton, Destin Lamb, William Sims, Chris Mann, Shelby Shelton, Sarah Shelton, Samuel Shelton, Amanda Shelton and April Shelton; 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She instilled a strong work ethic into her children growing up on their farm in Bald Knob and left them with wonderful memories of their time together on the Buffalo River. She loved to celebrate the accomplishments of her grandchildren and they will cherish their time with her, listening to her stories of her childhood.

Ann retired from the City of Yellville in 2001 after having worked there for over 25 years. In addition to her family, she leaves behind several dear friends who mourn her passing.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for memorials to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Services are in the care of Roller-Burns Funeral Home. The Family will hold a private memorial service.

Ann Shelton was a very loving woman that would have done anything for anyone and will be greatly missed we love you bunches gma shelton!!!

So sorry to hear of Anna's passing. We worked together at the hospital in the late 70sand early 80,'s . Joy to work with. Prayers for the family in this time of sorrow.
