Robbie Jane (Shaw) Ellis, 83, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
She was born April 23, 1942 in Milford, Texas to Floyd and Mary (Wilson) Shaw.
Robbie and her husband, Dorman, were married on February 10, 1961 and raised three sons together. She was loving and generous and she enjoyed taking care of her family. She especially cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robbie loved family gatherings, crossword puzzles, and reading John Grisham novels. She attended Life Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Dorman Ellis; three sons, Mark Ellis (Michelle) of Little Rock, David Ellis of Little Rock, Eric Ellis (Cynthia) of East End; eight grandchildren, Mandy Keller (Ben), Erin Jackson (Lawrence), Anna Ferrell (Coty), Jesse Ellis (Krystal), Rebekah Ellis, Rachel Hill (Justin), Geoffrey Ellis, and Julia Ellis; eight great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Barney Shaw.
Pallbearers are Jesse Ellis, Geoffrey Ellis, Mark Ellis, David Ellis, Eric Ellis, and Joey Lamuel.
Honorary pallbearers are great-grandsons, Locke Keller and John Ellis.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 at 2:00pm at Maple Springs Cemetery in Rosie, Arkansas with Brother Jeff Dial officiating.
