of Flippin, AR
November 26, 1958 - April 28, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Faye Marberry, 66, of Flippin, AR, whose loving presence brought joy to all who knew her. Jan went to her eternal home to be with her mom and dad on April 28, 2025 surrounded by family and friends at the Twin Lakes Therapy and Living. Jan, a resident of Flippin, AR was born on November 26, 1958 to Gracie M. and Bobby L. Marberry, the youngest of their four children.
Jan will be remembered for her humor and quick wit, especially evident in the playful banter with her older brothers. When they would pick on her (especially Steve), she never hesitated to dish it right back (with her nieces as her faithful allies), bringing laughter and joy to family gatherings. Family was the center of Jan's world. She cherished time spent at her parents home, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She particularly enjoyed celebrating holidays, birthdays and just random days with a houseful of family and food. She also loved it when her brothers would visit her and bring her food, particularly tacos, milkshakes, and her favorite, Oreos. Her nieces and nephew held a special place in her heart. She delighted in playing board games and cards with them, and hanging out with her nieces, watching movies and listening to music. An avid reader, Jan could often be found with her nose in a Mary Higgins Clark mystery or solving puzzles in her puzzle books. When she wasn't reading, sometimes she could be found playing bingo (and often winning), delighting in and showing off the prizes she won. Those who knew Jan know that her collection of cat-themed items reflected her fun nature and attention to the small joys in life. Jan's warmth, humor and loving spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and she is survived by her older brothers, Mike of Las Vegas; Steve of Flippin and David of Flippin and her special sister-in-law, Denise of Flippin.
Visitation services will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel.
Services are in the care of Roller-Burns Funeral Home.
