I had the pleasure of working with Nita for several years in the G/T program for the Batesville School system. Her love for teaching and the kids was always apparent. I know the knowledge and support she conveyed to them will last a lifetime. RIP, Nita, you sure deserve it!

My thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Felts' family and friends. She wasn't favorite teacher in Batesville Arkansas. She was a loving and caring teacher.

Nita was a born teacher. It seemed effortless to her, and she seemed to really enjoy teaching and being around youngsters. Her Wednesday night class for the women at North Heights was great fun as well as enlightening, and she had a wonderful rapport with people. I've missed her sunny presence since she moved from Batesville. "They who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not grow weary; they shall walk and not faint." -- Isaiah 40:31
